Copper tungsten alloy (W-Cu) is the composite of tungsten and copper which own it excellent performance of tungsten and copper.

Copper tungsten may be used as an electrical contact material. In the most severe applications associated with power generation and transmission the switch may be totally immersed in oil. In these cases there is no advantage in using the tarnish resistant silver-based materials, as oxidation is prevented by the exclusion of air. Copper tungsten contacts are widely used in these cases, the selection of the grade used being dependent on the relative importance of conductivity and arc resistance.

Copper tungsten alloy product is a sintered copper-tungsten material manufactured by powder metallurgy. It forms dense composite offering hardness, wear resistance and a high softening temperature of tungsten combined with the good electrical conductivity of copper.

Copper tungsten electrode
A combination of the advantages of tungsten and copper, high temperature resistance, electric arc ablation, high intensity, than the major, conductive, thermal conductivity, and ease of machining, and it has features such as cold sweating, as with tungsten high hardness, high melting point, anti-adhesion characteristics, often used to do a certain resistance to abrasion, resistant to high temperature welding, butt welding electrode.
Silver tungsten material
Silver tungsten materials are used in industrial and domestic circuit breaker applications where good weld and erosion resistance is important. Various grades are available: - the higher silver grades have higher conductivity, and the higher tungsten grades have greater erosion and weld resistance.
Tungsten alloy material
